Khasta

Khasta means flaky. Khasta kachori is deep fried puffed pastry with spicy moong dal stuffing. The crust of kachori is very crispy and flaky prepared from all purpose flour. It is also known as moong dal kachori. You can substitute moong dal with split urad dal also. Serve this kachori with yogurt and different chutneys topped with sev.

Puris

Puris are such a treat to the eyes and to the taste buds. The sight of a well puffed up Puri excites everyone (not just kids). Some great combinations are ‘Aloo-Puri’, Chole-Puri’ or ‘Halwa-Puri’. It is made on special occasions from religious functions to weddings to birthdays.
